The depth of sidewalk seating should never force diners or pedestrians into the roadway. On Lakeshore, for instance, despite safety fencing it is unnerving to be walking right beside busy traffic flow. I suspect I would feel the same way about dining in the roadway.

I am satisfied that a considerable amount of thought, attention to detail and consideration has been put into these documents. Burlington is a better and more vibrant place because of these temporary facilities!

Question
Why the need for consistency? Can not the patios be unique in furnishings, barricades etc. Consistency or sameness does not add interest to the street scape.

Suggestion
Not sure this is correct, possibly a typo. The way this is worded the patio would be in front of the neighbouring business and not the applicants business.
